Last updated: September 9, 2026
Canopas Software LLP ("Canopas," "we," "us," or "our") operates StretchUp and the related websites, mobile applications, and services (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, complete onboarding, use StretchUp, contact support, or otherwise interact with us. This may include:
- Account details, such as your name, email address, and sign-in information.
- Profile and preference details, such as age or age range, sex, height, weight, fitness level, goals, areas you want to work on, preferred session length, and routine preferences, when you choose to provide them.
- Activity and progress information, such as routines you start or complete, exercises, favorites, custom workouts, session duration, activity history, streaks, and progress records.
- Messages, feedback, survey responses, and other information you send to us.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically receive technical and usage information, such as your IP address, device and operating system, app version, language, time zone, general location derived from IP address, identifiers, crash reports, diagnostics, and information about how you interact with the Services. If you use our website, we may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand site performance.
Health and fitness information
If your version of StretchUp supports Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect, you may choose to connect those services. With your permission, we may receive information such as height, weight, workouts, or other data you authorize. You can decline access or revoke permission in your device settings. We use connected health information only to provide features you request, such as personalization, progress tracking, or activity history. We do not sell health information or use it for third-party advertising.
Information from other sources
We may receive limited information from Apple, Google, or another sign-in provider when you choose to use that provider, according to the permissions you grant. App stores may provide transaction and subscription-status information so we can confirm purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number through an app-store purchase.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and personalize the Services.
- Recommend routines based on your goals, preferences, mobility, and activity.
- Record sessions, favorites, custom workouts, progress, history, and streaks.
- Process subscriptions, validate purchases, and provide customer support.
- Communicate with you about your account, service updates, policy changes, and support requests.
- Understand usage, troubleshoot problems, improve existing Services, and develop new ones.
- Protect the Services, prevent fraud and misuse, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use health or fitness information to make decisions about your eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other services outside StretchUp.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by law, we process personal information on the basis of your consent, performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, and compliance with legal obligations. When we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that provide hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, communications, security, and other services on our behalf. They may access information only as needed to perform services for us and must protect it under their agreements with us.
- App stores and connected services. Apple, Google, sign-in providers, and health platforms when needed to provide a feature you request or validate a transaction.
- Legal and safety reasons. When reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or protect the Services.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or transfer of the Services.
- At your direction. When you ask us to share information or otherwise consent to the disclosure.
We do not use health information for third-party advertising. If our advertising or analytics practices change, we will update this Policy and the applicable disclosures before using information for a new purpose.
5. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can review or update certain profile information in StretchUp. You can disconnect Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect through your device settings, adjust notification permissions, and manage subscriptions through the relevant app store.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive equal treatment. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us at contact@canopas.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained when required by law or needed for security, billing, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why we collected it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that requires notice, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
8. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and protect information in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action. If local law sets a different age, that law applies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Your continued use of the Services after an update means the updated Policy applies to your use going forward.
